We hope you are doing well staying warm despite the cold weather! We wanted to remind you of a few things that are coming up at Life Community.
This coming Saturday (Feb 2nd) our service will consist entirely of FOOD and FELLOWSHIP! Because the Event Center was previously booked, we decided we would enjoy a meal and get to know one another instead of doing a regular church service. We will be meeting at the Coffee Shop for a chili & soup dinner (The Coffee Shop is right next to the room where we usually meet – in the same shopping center). We have asked folks to bring either a pot of soup or chili to share or something to go with it (bread, chips, salad, dessert…). If you can’t bring anything, you are still welcome to come… there will be plenty of food!
At Life Community we have a high priority on building relationships and genuine community. We believe that fellowshipping over a meal is a great way to build relationships! We want to make sharing a meal together a regular event. We’ll have a movie on for the kids, so don’t hesitate to bring them. The following week, we’ll resume our Saturday evening service in the normal location.
We would also like to invite anyone who wants to come over and watch the Super Bowl with us (Tim and Elisabeth) to join us at our house. If you love football (or don’t, but just enjoy the Super Bowl commercials) come on over! Bring snack foods or drinks to share and come hang out, we’d love to have you! If you are interested in coming, just email back and we will give you directions to our house.
Also, if you are planning on coming to the soup & chili dinner and haven’t already signed up, we would appreciate a quick email letting us know what you are bringing so we can plan accordingly. We could use a couple more desserts. Thanks!
