Plan for a 2.5-3.5 mile trek at Mesa Lakes with lunch following. If you do not have snow shoes, they can be rented at REI for $18 per day for members, and $27 per day for no members. Also, the Board and Buckle Bike/Ski shop on North Ave rents them for $15 per day. Dress for exercising in the snow, warm layers, and breathable. The trek will take aprox 2 hrs.

We will be meeting in the Life Community Church parking lot, and can car pool from there.

Pack a lunch, or purchase at the Mesa Lakes Lodge (their Elk burgers are pretty good). Bring plenty of water, even in the middle of winter you can get dehydrated at high altitude. Snacks are always good. Pick up snow shoe rentals if needed the day before, and we should be back mid afternoon so they can be returned.
