Come with us as we snow shoe on the Grand Mesa Saturday Jan 23rd! We will meet up in the church parking lot and be hitting the road at 9:00 am. For those that would like to share a ride, please rsvp so we can arrange it. Our route is about 3.5 miles round trip, and elevation is over 9,000 ft, so be prepared for some good exercise! Dress appropriately with layers, we’ll start out cold, but once we get moving we’ll warm up very quickly.

We plan to finish our hike around 12:00-1:00pm, be prepared with a sack lunch or snacks. The Mesa Lakes Lodge should be open, but seating will be limited for those that would like to eat inside or have a hot drink.

Snow shoes can be rented if needed at the Board and Buckle Bike/Ski shop on North Avenue, or REI on Independent Ave. REI does rent better equipment, but rental fees are a bit more.
